Waterloo Recreation Area--Annual Spring Festival

Eddy Discover Center will host their annual Spring Festival on Saturday, May 16, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This year's theme is "Where the Wild Things Live." Activities are planned throughout the day: Bees, Wildlife Photography, Kids Photo Contest, Geology Walk, Live Animal Presentation, Michigan Week, Michigan Mammals, Spring Birding, Petoskey Stone Polishing, Pioneer Prairies, Bloomin' Bog Hike, Wildflower Walk,. For more details contact the visitor center at (734)475-3170. All motor vehicles entering a state park or recreation area must display a Motor Vehicle Permit, available for purchase at the park entrance and headquarters. Cost is $24 for a resident annual and $6 for a resident daily. A nonresident annual is $29 and a nonresident daily is $8.
