On Saturday, May 23, the center will offer all-day programming for visitors to celebrate Memorial Day. Among the programs are Live Michigan Turtles with Jim McGrath of Nature Discovery from 10 a.m. to noon and again from 1 to 3 p.m. In Line Float Fishing will be offered on the canal from 3 to 5 p.m. Bait and tackle will be provided. All motor vehicles entering a state park or recreation area must display a Motor Vehicle Permit, available for purchase at the park entrance and headquarters. Cost is $24 for a resident annual and $6 for a resident daily. A nonresident annual is $29 and a nonresident daily is $8.
