Van Riper State Park--Champion Beach Trail Grand Opening

The ceremonies begin at noon with an official ribbon cutting ceremony followed by a bike/walk parade on the trail. A Bluegrass/Old Time Music Jam will be held in the shelter building between 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. For more details contact the park at 906-339-4461. All motor vehicles entering a state park or recreation area must display a Motor Vehicle Permit, available for purchase at the park entrance and headquarters. Cost is $24 for a resident annual and $6 for a resident daily. A nonresident annual is $29 and a nonresident daily is $8.
