The event will include various bicycle vendors and possibly a swap meet if there is enough interest. We would like to introduce the public to the newly dedicated North Central State Rail Trail (formerly the Gaylord-Mackinac Rail Trail). On September 19, we plan on going north on the trail to at least Topinabee before returning, and on September 20, we plan on going south on the trail to at least Haakwood State Forest Campground. This event is for novices and experts alike. For more details contact the park at 231-238-9392.
All motor vehicles entering a state park or recreation area must display a Motor Vehicle Permit, available for purchase at the park entrance and headquarters. Cost is $24 for a resident annual and $6 for a resident daily. A nonresident annual is $29 and a nonresident daily is $8.
