Free Fishing Weekend June 13 & 14, 2009

The DNRs annual Free Fishing Weekend will be on Saturday and Sunday, June 13-14. Anyone wanting to get out and try their hand at this popular activity can do so without the need of a fishing license. At Hartwick Pines, we will be having a Kids Fishing Contest on Saturday, June 13 from 10am to 12noon at the Bright and Glory Lakes. Come try to catch some fish and win a prize. Other fishing opportunities at the park include the East Branch of the AuSable River, Hartwick Lake and the Borrow Pond ear I-75. For more information, call (989) 348-2537 or (989) 348-7068.
