Once again, professional interpreter and entertainer Michael Deren will present his always popular Past in Person program that will take the audience back in time to a Northern Michigan Logging Camp in the 1870s, the hey-day of Michigans White Pine Era. The program will be on Saturday, June 20 at 7pm at the Logging Museum. Michael Deren will use a variety of stories, music and props to give a peak into the world of the shantyboys life in the logging camps. This is a program with a lot of audience participation and will get people on their feet. The program will be held outdoors at the Logging Museum, so bring your bug spray. Rain location will be the Visitor Center. For more information, please contact Rob Burg at (989) 348-2537 or Email: burgr@michigan.gov
