Dennis Fox

Dennis Fox was named Chief of Staff to Michigan Department of Natural Resources Director Rebecca Humphries on June 1, 2004. He previously served as the conservation policy advisor to Lieutenant Governor John Cherry, the policy director for the Michigan United Conservation Clubs (MUCC), and as a policy analyst in the Senate Democratic Office.

While at MUCC, he served as a member of the STRONGER team, which conducted a review of Michigan’s oil and gas waste disposal program and as a member of the group organized by the DNR to review post-production costs and to create an internal process/procedure for leasing.

A resident of Westphalia, Fox is a graduate of Michigan State University, with a bachelor’s degree in political science pre-law.
