There will be a youth hunting opportunity at the Muskegon County Wastewater System April 26-27. Plans include a youth turkey hunting workshop Jan. 24 and an orientation day in early April. The Fort Custer Training Center near Battle Creek offers turkey hunting opportunities for properly licensed youth in late April (Hunt No. 301). A mentor is available for each participant, and the program includes a workshop the day before the hunt. Special hunting opportunities also are available for properly licensed hunters with a disability during May (Hunt No. 234).
