"I am a sixth grade teacher in Lapeer county. The Academy was such a valuable
opportunity for me. The full immersion in meaningful and authentic conservation
experiences and lessons have helped me re-envision the way I see myself as a
science teacher. I am eager to step away from my more traditional approach. I want to be more involved with my students in the learning process, learning and enjoying moments along with them. This week provided me with the tools and resources, enriching outdoor experiences and inspiration from experts and fellow educators that will help to change my philosophy and style of teaching. I thoroughly enjoyed my week here; the experiences, resources, good company, and friendship. I would highly recommend this program to all teachers."

Mayfield Elementary School, Lapeer Community Schools.
"It was a comprehensive conference that sent us, the participants away with an abundance of resources and activities that are usable with our students immediately. I look forward to next year. The RAM Center was everything I expected after researching it online. Food was plentiful and tasty. It felt like a cruise. The pristine wilderness surrounding
The camp is an area I'd love to have my students experience. Thank you for the opportunity to learn at the RAM Center and to have such a quality conference."
