Some of the six topics are not specifically threats; therefore, they were not included within the threats framework outlined in the Threats pages, nor were they evaluated for their importance by natural resource professionals, as were the threats. Other topics were included in the threats framework, but did not meet the criteria as statewide priority threats. All are issues of importance to the conservation of wildlife species and the landscapes they use and were repeatedly identified as such at meetings and workshops and through discussions with species experts and scientific literature reviews. However, due to the scale at which they need to be discussed, these issues are not adequately addressed, if at all, in the landscape feature and SGCN summaries.
