Twin Lakes State Park today announced the Adventure Mining Company has joined the park's growing list of local businesses who are offering discounts to campers during the 2008 camping season.

Adventure Mining Company, Dave's Woodbin, Hallmark Hair Salon, Krupp's Mini-Mart, Krupp's Resort, Parkview Lodge & Grill, Twin Lakes Convenience, Twin Lakes Resort, Wyandotte Hills Golf Course and Wyandotte Hills Resort all have teamed up with Twin Lakes State Park this season to again offer a variety of discounts to campers who stay for four or more consecutive nights at Twin Lakes.

"These local businesses are offering some great added values for campers staying at the park to help offset the high cost of traveling this summer," said Park Ranger Rich Pirhonen. "The discounts vary from breakfast or dinner entrees to golfing to haircuts, firewood, propane and more. Our newest partner, Adventure Mining Company, is offering a 15 percent discount on tour packages through the mine."

Each camper who stays for four or more consecutive nights will receive a page of coupons upon registration. The camper may be asked to show their camping receipt when presenting their coupons at the area businesses.

All motor vehicles entering a state park or recreation area must display a Motor Vehicle Permit, available for purchase at the park entrance. Cost is $24 for a resident annual and $6 for a resident daily. A nonresident annual is $29 and a nonresident daily is $8.
