The Department of Natural Resources' Bergland Boat Dock in Ontonagon County will be closed temporarily, beginning Monday, Aug. 18, to allow for C&N Railroad to repair tracks that cross the entrance road to the access site. Construction is expected to last for two days, with the site reopening on Wednesday, Aug. 20.

Alternate access to Lake Gogebic can be found at Lake Gogebic State Park, the Ontonagon County Park and the Lake Gogebic East Side boat access sites.
