The Department of Natural Resources announced today that repairs to the Two Hearted River foot bridge, located 35 miles northeast of Newberry in Luce County, have been completed and the bridge was reopened on Friday, Sept. 12.
This bridge is situated within the mouth of the Two Hearted River State Forest Campground and is a part of the North Country Pathway. The temporary reroute of the North Country Pathway made necessary by this construction has been discontinued. DNR staff would like to thank campground and pathway visitors for their patience during these repairs.
