Dodge #4 State Park Hosting a 'GO-Get Outdoors' Ice Festival Feb. 7

Dodge #4 State Park is hosting an Ice Festival on Cass Lake in Oakland County this Saturday, Feb. 7, from 1 to 10 p.m.

A warming tent will be the hub of the festival, where visitors can find ice carvings, a disc jockey, a live band and refreshments. There will also be an ice skating rink, fishing contest, a hockey shoot out and a sledding hill. This activity is for the entire family.

Dodge #4 State Park is located at 4250 Parkway Dr. in Waterford. For more information about this event, the park, accessibility, or persons needing accommodations to attend this event, contact the park supervisor at (248) 682-7323 (or TTY/TDD 711 Michigan Relay Center for the hearing impaired), or visit the Web site at www.michigan.gov/dodge4.

All motor vehicles entering a state park or recreation area must display a Motor Vehicle Permit, available for purchase at the park entrance. Cost is $24 for a resident annual and $6 for a resident daily. A nonresident annual is $29 and a nonresident daily is $8.
