Bewabic State Park will host a "GO-Get Outdoors" cross-country ski evening Friday, Feb. 6, from 6 to 8 p.m.
"One and a half miles of the cross-country ski trail will be illuminated by candle lit luminaries," said Robert Strittmatter, park supervisor. "Snowshoe users are also welcome to this event, but we ask that they stay off the tracks that are set for the cross-country skiers."
The trail at Bewabic State Park is groomed and track-set for the traditional cross-country skier. The trailhead is located at the south end of the day-use parking lot. Visitors also can warm themselves by a fire in the day-use shelter.
Bewabic State Park is located four miles west of Crystal Falls on US-2 in the Upper Peninsula.
