Tahquamenon Falls State Park is hosting its annual "Hike Between Da Falls" June 6, beginning at 9 a.m. Participants are encouraged to take a free shuttle from the Lower Falls to the Upper Falls, where they will begin the four-mile hike back to the Lower Falls along the scenic River Trail. The River Trail parallels the beautiful Tahquamenon River and also is part of the North Country National Scenic Trail. The shuttle will run every 30 minutes between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Outdoor activities, nature crafts and more will be offered throughout the day at the Lower Falls.
Make the weekend complete by camping at the Lower Falls or the Rivermouth campgrounds. Camping reservations can be made online at www.midnrreservations.com or by calling 800-447-2757.

All motor vehicles entering a state park or recreation area must display a Motor Vehicle Permit, available for purchase at the park entrance. Cost is $24 for a Michigan resident annual and $6 for Michigan resident daily. A nonresident annual is $29 and a nonresident daily is $8.
