No burn permits issued for trees, logs, brush, and stumps within 1400 feet of a city or village due to Department of Environmental Quality rules.
Bear Lake, Village: The open burning of either grass clippings or leaves is allowed with a permit.
Copemish, Village: The open burning of either grass clippings or leaves is allowed with a permit.
East Lake, Village: The open burning of either grass clippings or leaves is allowed with a permit.
Kaleva, Village: The open burning of either grass clippings or leaves is allowed with a permit.
Manistee, City: The open burning of either grass clippings or leaves is allowed outside of priority 2 air quality area.
