No burn permits issued for trees, logs, brush, and stumps within 1400 feet of a city or village due to Department of Environmental Quality rules.
Custer, Village: The open burning of either grass clippings or leaves is allowed with a permit.
Fountain, Village: The open burning of either grass clippings or leaves is allowed with a permit.
Freesoil, Village: The open burning of either grass clippings or leaves is allowed with a permit.
Ludington, City: Open burning is prohibited by local ordinance.
Scottville, City: Open burning is prohibited by local ordinance.
