It shall be the policy of the Natural Resources Commission (NRC) to manage State-owned lands in a manner that protects and enhances the public trust while providing for the use and enjoyment of those lands as outlined in the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act.

As a public service to the hunting guides and the hunting public, the Department of Natural Resources is providing the following directory to help put Michigan sportspersons in contact with a hunting guide authorized to do business on department-administered lands. This listing is provided solely as a convenience, and the department does not endorse or certify a guide's knowledge or ability. Guides desiring to be added to the list should complete the Guide Application/Permit to Use State Land or contact Brenda Mikula, Leasing Manager, at 231-597-0472 for information.
