What is the Citizens Committee for Michigan State Parks?

Members of the Citizens Committee for Michigan State Parks are appointed by the DNR Director. Created by legislation signed into law in 2004, this diverse panel will ensure the public has a voice in the operations, planning and development of Michigan's premier state park system.

The committee's held its first meeting on March 9, 2005, and a formal meeting schedule has not been adopted.
