- About Mann House, Concord
In 1883, Daniel and Ellen Mann built a two-story house in the small picturesque farming community of Concord. They taught their daughters Mary Ida and Jessie to value education and lifelong learning, which ultimately led the sisters to preserve their family's home and furnishings. Visitors touring the house today are immersed in the family life and Victorian culture that shaped these two independent women.
