Location
The Michigan Iron Industry Museum is located nine miles west of Marquette. Take Jackson Trace Parkway (not yet shown on map applications) off of U.S. 41, one mile west of Junction M-35; the approximately half-mile-long road leads to the museum.
Admission
Admission to the Michigan Iron Industry Museum is free; donations are appreciated. Some special programs have fees for participation or parking.

Daily, 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
June 1 - September 30
Daily, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
October 1 - October 31
Daily, 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
November 1 - April 30
Monday - Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
First Saturday each month, 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Michigan Iron Industry Museum is open on Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day. The museum is closed on all other official state holidays.
The Museum Store and the Michigan Iron Industry Museum maintain the same schedule.

How Much Time?
Please allow one to two hours to tour the museum. Attractions include permanent and temporary exhibits, outdoor interpretive paths and a high-definition video, Iron Spirits: Life on the Michigan Iron Range.

Pets: Pets accompanied by and under the control of their human friends are welcomed on the grounds of this site. Pets may not enter any building.
Accessibility
The Michigan Iron Industry Museum is accessible to the mobility impaired; a Wheelchair may be borrowed, subject to availability. A magnifier, large-print transcripts of the A/V program and print-outs of the interpretive trail panels are available for use on request. Designated parking is available.
