    Farmers Market

Visitors at the Walker Farmers' Market browse at a vendor's stall Most Sundays (and a couple of Fridays, too!)
Memorial Day weekend through mid October
    10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

    Walker Tavern, Brooklyn

The farmers market at Walker Tavern is the largest of its kind in southeast Michigan. Here at the historic crossroads where Sylvester Walker fed weary travelers in the mid 1800s, you'll find more than 25 venders offering fresh produce, baked goods and locally produced crafts.

Make a day of it! Walker Tavern is open for tours and, on the Sundays noted below, you can catch the Walker Wheels Vintage Base Ball Club in action.

If you are interested in being a vendor at the Walker Farmers Market, please send e-mail to market master David Brainerd at brainerdfarms@frontiernet.net or telephone him at (517) 467‑7793.
