About Tawas Point Lighthouse, East Tawas

Tawas Point LighthouseTawas Point Lighthouse, in operation since 1876, and now part of Tawas Point State Park, is a fascinating attraction for maritime buffs. Tawas Point is also a destination for birdwatchers, especially during the spring and fall migration seasons. Tawas Point also offers spectacular views of sunrises over Lake Huron and sunsets over Tawas Bay.
