All photo orders must be prepaid by check, money order or credit card. Checks or money orders should be made payable to "State of Michigan" and mailed to: Archives of Michigan, PO Box 30737, Lansing, MI 48909. You may call (517) 373-3559 to give credit card information. Orders can be taken by phone Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., except on state holidays.

Image Fees and Permission:

Permission is not necessary in cases of personal use.

Click Image Permission Form to request permission to use images in a public medium (such as books, magazine and journal articles, and the World Wide Web.). Call (517) 373-3559 or e-mail archives@michigan.gov for permission fee information.
