April 9, 2009

Mackinaw City, Mich. - For $65, your entire family (and grandchildren!) can enjoy unlimited, all-season passes to the many Mackinac State Historic Parks "living history" sites and nature parks in northern Michigan, making the all-American vacation - even during these economically challenging times - affordable once again.

By joining Mackinac Associates at the "heritage" level, you can take advantage of unlimited admission for your entire family, which includes all children and grandchildren 17 and under, to Fort Mackinac and Historic Downtown Mackinac on Mackinac Island, and Colonial Michilimackinac, Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse and Historic Mill Creek Discovery Park in or near Mackinaw City. Annual membership to Mackinac Associates, a non-profit friends group committed to preserving and sharing Mackinac's heritage, offers many other benefits, including a 15 percent discount at its five museum stores. Additional levels of membership are available.

Contact Diane Dombroski at (231) 436-4100 or dombrosd@michigan.gov, or visit MackinacAssociates.org for more information.
