Important Changes

• Michigan's youth hunting laws have changed to allow youth of any age to hunt with adult supervision. See the Mentored Youth Hunting Program section.
• The season purchase limit for antlerless deer licenses has increased to five statewide (except DMU 486 and DMU 487 have no season limit).
• Youth and 100% Disabled Hunt dates have changed.

Important Reminders

• Combination and firearm deer licenses can be used to harvest antlerless and antlered deer in DMU 487.
• Review the DMUs open and closed to antlerless hunting carefully, as changes occur to some DMUs each year.
• Report sick or dead deer at www.michigan.gov/wdm or to the DNR Wildlife Disease Lab at 517-336-5030.
