Hunter education - volunteer instructors

Hunter education is made possible by a unique partnership between over 2,500 Michigan volunteer hunter education instructors and the DNR Law Enforcement Division. These volunteers, supported by Michigan conservation officers, give freely of their time and talents to share their love of Michigan's natural resources and the hunting tradition.

The DNR strives to recruit the most qualified instructors available and provide them with the best materials and training necessary to conduct hunter education courses throughout the state.
