The History of Michigan's Hatcheries

History of Michigan's fish hatcheries digital postcard

Greetings from Michigan's state fish hatcheries, where we produce 13 million trout and salmon and 30 million walleye, muskies and sturgeon annually. That's a total 600,000-700,000 pounds of fish a year for Michigan's public fishing waters! To learn more about Michigan's fisheries, please browse our web site or visit one of our hatchery interpretive centers.
