  • Fisheries Reports
    Fisheries Reports support science-based management of Michigan's fishery resources by communicating the scientific information, models and management recommendations of division staff. They also document the division's activities, preserve data and fulfill federal contractual obligations.
     
  • Status of the Fishery Resource Reports/Management Plans
    Status of the Fishery Resource Reports contain the results of major fisheries surveys on Michigan lakes and rivers. Each report briefly describes the environment, the fishery resource and the management direction for the water body. Tables summarize information on the fish species found. Full-text versions of Status Reports are now available!
     
  • Division Reprints
    Division Reprints are copies of articles written by Fisheries Division staff that have been printed in journals, magazines or the publications of other institutions (i.e. Great Lakes Fishery Commission).
     
  • Research Reports
    (Content previously published in this series will now be published in the Fisheries Report series.)
    The Research Report series contains the results of substantial research and study conducted by Fisheries Division staff. The reports may cover such topics as experimental investigations of fisheries issues, analysis of long-term observations of fish communities and habitats, analysis of catch data, or the results of comprehensive life history studies.
     
  • Technical Reports
    (Content previously published in this series will now be published in the Fisheries Report series.)
    Fisheries Technical Reports contain the results of population monitoring, techniques, management experiences and reviews that are of interest statewide.
     
  • Special/Management Reports
    (Content previously published in this series will now be published in the Fisheries Report series.)
    Fisheries Special/Management Reports are substantial reports that deal with current topics of concern to the division and of general interest to other agencies and the public. In 1990 the series title was changed from Fisheries Management Report to Fisheries Special Report.
     
  • Annual and Final Reports to the U.S. Department of the Interior, Wildlife and Sport Fish Restoration Programs
    These reports contain the findings of research funded by USDOI Wildlife and Sport Fish Restoration Programs. These funds enable Fisheries Division to carry out projects to restore, conserve, improve, and manage aquatic habitats, fisheries resources, coastal wetlands, and critical infrastructure.
