River Raisin

The River Raisin is a bedrock lined river which is the favored spawning grounds for smallmouth bass.

Typical Fish Species Available: Bullhead, Carp, Catfish, Crappie, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, Sucker, Sunfish, Yellow Perch

Bait: Worms, Minnows, Artificial

Hours: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Driving Directions

I-75 goes right through Monroe. Exit at Elm Ave, and go west for approximately 2 miles. Parking is ample either in St. Mary's Parking lot, or you may cross the River Raisin, turn right on Front St (first street immediately after the river). You will find a new parking lot on the right approximately 3 blocks down.
