Thompson's Harbor has a Rental Cabin
Do you want to get off on your own and try a little rustic cabin camping? Thompson's Harbor State Park recently remodeled a cabin. It sleeps 4 on bunk beds (that will change to six when they add the pull out bed). The cabin has propane heat and lights powered by propane. Also provided is a propane camper stove. Outside the cabin visitors will find the outhouse (vault toilet).
The best part about this cabin is the beautiful park that surrounds it. This park has seven and a half miles of Lake Huron shoreline, providing a perfect rustic retreat for hikers exploring the park's six miles of trails.
