Traverse City State Park Cottage

The Cottage is located near the entrance to Traverse City State Park, directly across the road from the beautiful park beach on East Grand Traverse Bay.  It can comfortably sleep eleven people with its three bedrooms and additional pull-out sofa bed in the living room.  The Cottage has two full bathrooms, one with a shower stall and the other with a bathtub/shower combination.

The Cottage is barrier free and has an entry ramp, fully accessible bathroom and living room (sofa bed).

The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, microwave, toaster, refrigerator, dishwasher, pots and pans, and dinnerware.  A washer and dryer are also present and the guests are provided with linens. 

Visitors can enjoy a private backyard, complete with a grill and fire circle.  Access to the beach is just a short walk through the campground.  While staying at the Cottage, visitors have easy access to the Traverse Area Recreational Trail, downtown Traverse City, and the natural wooded environment which makes Traverse City State Park a true memory maker.

Cottage rates are as follows:

Summer (Week preceding Memorial Day to week after Labor Day): Nightly rates are $200 and weekends/holidays are $250 per night.  Weekly rate is $1,200 per week.                  

Off-season (Post Labor Day week to Pre-Memorial Day week): Nightly rates are $100 and weekend/holidays are $150 per night. Weekly rate is $650 per week. 

Check In: 3 p.m.   Check Out: 10 a.m.

Smoking and pets are prohibited according to state law (exception for service animals).  Daily maid service is not provided and guests are expected to clean the Cottage prior to their departure.
