    Tepee Rentals

    Baraga Kitchigami Tepee

Renting a tepee can be a fun adventure for your next camping trip. The tepee in the photograph (left) is the one available at Baraga State Park. It is set up in the modern campground with access to the modern toilet/shower buildings, a fire ring and a picnic table. The tepee has a solid floor, a closeable flap and sleeps up to four people in bunk beds or cots. Park staff sets up the tepee for campers.

In addition to the tepee, campers may erect one additional tent on the same campsite, but no other camping units are allowed. Also, no pets are allowed inside the tepee during your stay.

Tepee rentals also are available at Cheboygan State Park and Wilson State Park. Cost is $30 per night. Reservations can be made for the tepee by calling 1-800-44PARKS or online by clicking here.
