State Park Mini Cabins

More than 55 mini-cabins are available to rent in Michigan's State Parks. These one-room cabins are located on a campsite within the campground and are generally slightly smaller than a rustic cabin.  The mini-cabins also feature picnic tables and grills or fire rings on the campsite. The location within the park allows mini-cabin users easy access to all the park's amenities such as shower buildings, water fountains, playscapes and beaches. Many cabins are universally accessible and ADA compliant.

Check in time is at 3 p.m. on the day of your first night of camping. Check out time is at 1 p.m. on the day your camping permit expires. Pets are not permitted inside the mini-cabin. Some mini-cabins do require a two-night minimum stay.

Mini-cabins are designed to sleep four people with bunkbeds and mattresses provided. Campers must provide all bedding, cookware, tableware.  A first-aid kit, lanterns, flashlight, ax or handsaw and a portable cookstove are recommended.
