State Park Mini Cabins
More than 55 mini-cabins are available to rent in Michigan's state parks. These one-room cabins are located on a campsite within the campground and are generally slightly smaller than a rustic cabin. The mini-cabins also feature picnic tables and grills or fire rings on the campsite. The location within the park allows mini-cabin users easy access to all the park's amenities such as shower buildings, water fountains, playscapes and beaches. Many cabins are universally accessible and ADA compliant.
Check-in time is at 3 p.m. on the day of your first night of camping. Check out time is at 1 p.m. on the day your camping permit expires. Pets are not permitted inside the mini-cabin. Some mini-cabins do require a two-night minimum stay.
Mini-cabins are designed to sleep four people with bunkbeds and mattresses provided. Campers must provide all bedding, cookware, tableware. A first-aid kit, lanterns, flashlight, ax or handsaw and a portable cookstove are recommended.
