Park Management Plans

• How Does Management Planning Relate to the Recreation Division Strategic Plan? Management Planning is a defined strategic process within the Recreation Division Strategic Plan (2009)

• What are Park Management Plans? By establishing the park's purpose and significance, decisions about operations and development can be made about amenities offered to visitors.

• How is a Management Plan Developed? A comprehensive management plan takes time and public input to develop.

• How Can I Give Input? Public input will be sought from a series of meetings with stakeholders, park visitors and other interested individuals. Accommodations can be arranged 72 hours in advance by request.

• What are Management Zones? Management zones help define intensity of development and provide a guide for use of areas within a park.
