Location: Island Lake Recreation Area, 12950 E. Grand River Ave., Brighton, MI, 48116
Kick off your Tri season and Memorial Weekend with this annual series of events. It includes a 0.5 swim, 12.4 bike and 3.1 run, with Olympic athletes doing two laps. The swim will take place at Kent Lake, and this is a 100% paved course for the bike and run. The course has a few flat sections, but mainly consists of small hills and sweeping turns so is very interesting and challenging.
This is a three-time event occurring in the Spring, Summer and Fall. Completing all three is a great way of seeing how you progressed from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
