Sterling State Park--NF Walk to Benefit the Children's Tumor FoundationDate: May 18, 2013 Time: 10:00 AM - 02:00 PM Location: Sterling State Park, 2800 State Park Road, Monroe, MI, 48162
The Monroe, MI NF Walk is a great opportunity for children, family and friends to connect at a community event and draw support from each other while raising awareness and funds for neurofibromatosis (NF) research. NF is a genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body for which there is no cure or effective treatment.
Registration/Check-In takes place from 8:45 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.; the walk lasts from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.; Lunch and Kid's Activities run from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm.
