Partnership Match Program

Friends Groups puts forth incredible time and effort into improving Michigan state parks and recreation areas. Fundraising is a big part of these efforts and, as a result, the DNR offers the Partnership Match Program as an incentive toward achieving these goals.

The Partnership Match Program is administered by the DNR for the purpose of leveraging and matching fundraising efforts of established friends groups or other qualified organizations toward common goals and projects located within state parks or recreation areas. The funds for this program are enabled through the Recreation Passport Program and the Park Endowment fund.

The DNR is now accepting applications for the 2018 program. For more information, contact Matt Lincoln, program administrator, at 517-284-6111 or lincolnm@michigan.gov.
