The DNR is has teamed up with Michigan Recreation and Parks Association (M Parks), Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and local fitness instructors statewide to put the "out" back into workout! With fun outdoor programs like yoga, Pilates, strength training, cardio and more, you can enjoy fresh air AND fitness year-round! New programs are added monthly, so check here often for a complete list of fitness classes in state parks.
Huron Valley Recreation and Community Education will be offering the fitness classes this summer at the park as part of the Department of Natural Resources MI Big Green Gym Program. Classes include Karate, Insanity , Fitness Trail Hiking and Yoga.
Serene Yoga will be offering a New Summer Beach Yoga Series June 1 through August 31. Classes will be held Tuesdays and Thursday mornings from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Friday evenings from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. $10 drop-in rate.

Stand-up paddleboard (SUP) yoga is a fun way to experience yoga outdoors. Classes offered Thursday evenings at Silver Lake starting June 15 through Aug. 24 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Infinite Heart Yoga will be offering a family beach yoga class this summer on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:15 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The class costs $10 per person or $25 per family. Meet at changing courts.
Smiling Lotus Yoga will be offering a beach yoga and meditation class on Mondays, June 19 through Aug. 28 from 7-8 p.m.
