SPECIAL LOCAL WATERCRAFT CONTROLS - HURON COUNTY

PIGEON RIVER - WC-32-96-001 - Slow--no wake speed.

On the waters of the Pigeon River from a line extending from the Huron Yacht Club in an area commonly referred to as the Tires extending out and along a northerly direction 100 yards beyond the break wall, section 35, town 18 north, range 10 east, the village of Caseville, Huron county, state of Michigan, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow--no wake speed.

The boundaries of the area described immediately above shall be marked with signs and with buoys. All buoys must be placed as provided in a permit issued by the Department of Natural Resources and be in conformance with the State Uniform Waterway Marking System.

PORT AUSTIN HARBOR OF REFUGE - WC-32-92-001 - Slow--no wake speed.

On the waters of Port Austin harbor of Refuge, Port Austin township, Huron county, it unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow--no wake speed.

The boundaries of the lines described immediately above shall be marked with signs and with buoys. All buoys must be placed as provided in a permit issued by the Department of Natural Resources and be in conformance with the State Uniform Waterway Marking System.

SEBEWAING RIVER AND CHANNELS AND CANALS - R281.732.1 - Slow--no wake speed.

1. On the waters of the Sebewaing river and connecting natural and artificial channels and canals, sections 7 and 8, town 15 north, range 9 east, Sebewaing village, Huron county, from the M-25 (Beck street) bridge downstream to the mouth, an operator of a vessel shall not exceed a slow--no wake speed, which means a very slow speed whereby the wake or wash created by the vessel would be minimal.
