SPECIAL LOCAL WATERCRAFT CONTROLS - LEELANAU COUNTY

FISHER LAKE - WC-45-85-001 - Hours for high-speed boating and water skiing.

On the waters of Fisher lake, sections 24 and 25, T29N, R14W, Glen Arbor township, Leelanau county, it is unlawful between the hours of 6:30 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. of the following day to:

(a) Operate a vessel at high speed.

(b) Have in tow, or otherwise assist in the propulsion of, a person on water skis,  a water sled, kite, surfboard or other similar contrivance.

GLEN LAKE AND LITTLE GLEN LAKE - WC-45-94-001 - Slow--no wake speed.

On the waters of Glen lake and Little Glen lake, all within sections 32 and 33, T29N, R14W, Glen Arbor township, Leelanau county, in the channel connecting Glen lake and Little Glen lake, for a distance of 200 feet easterly and westerly of the M-22 bridge, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow--no wake speed.

The boundaries of the area described immediately above shall be marked with signs and with buoys. All buoys must be placed as provided in a permit issued by the Department of Natural Resources and be in conformance with the State Uniform Waterway Marking System.

GLEN LAKE AND LITTLE GLEN LAKE - WC-45-94-002 - Slow--no wake speed.

On the waters of Glen lake and Little Glen lake, all within sections 3 and 4, T28N, R14W, Empire township, Leelanau county, in the channel connecting Glen lake and Little Glen lake, for a distance of 200 feet easterly and westerly of the M-22 bridge, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow--no wake speed.

The boundaries of the area described immediately above shall be marked with signs and with buoys. All buoys must be placed as provided in a permit issued by the Department of Natural Resources and be in conformance with the State Uniform Waterway Marking System.

LAKE LEELANAU INCLUDING CARP RIVER - WC-45-99-001 - Slow-no wake speed.

(1) On the waters of the Carp River, from a point beginning where Highway M-22 crosses the river, upstream to a point 150 feet into the north arm of Lake Leelanau;

(2) On the waters of Lake Leelanau known as the "Narrows", as marked with buoys in locations listed below,

It shall be unlawful for a vessel to exceed a slow-no wake speed.
