ALMA LAKE - R281.754.9 - Motorboats prohibited.

9. On the waters of Alma lake, section 32, town 16 north, range 9 west, Grant township, Mecosta county, it is unlawful to operate a motorboat.

BIG JOHN BROWN LAKE - R281.754.6 - Hours for high-speed boating and water skiing.

6. On the waters of Big John Brown lake, section 15, town 15 north, range 8 west, township of Martiny, county of Mecosta, state of Michigan, no operator of any motorboat, during the period from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. of the following day, shall:

(a) Operate such motorboat at high speed, which means a speed at or above which a motorboat reaches a planing condition, or

(b) Have in tow or otherwise assist in the propulsion of a person on water skis, water sled, surfboard, or other similar contrivance.

HORSEHEAD LAKE - R281.754.4 - Hours for high-speed boating and water skiing.

4. On the waters of Horsehead lake, sections 15, 16, 21, 22, 27 and 28, town 15 north, range 8 west, township of Martiny, county of Mecosta, state of Michigan, no operator of any motorboat, during the period from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. of the following day, shall:

(a) Operate such motorboat at high speed, which means a speed at or above which a motorboat reaches a planing condition, or

(b) Have in tow or otherwise assist water skis, water sled, surfboard, or other similar contrivance.

12. On the waters of Jehnsen lake, section 9, 10, 15 and 16, T15N, R8W, Martiny township, Mecosta county, it is unlawful, between the hours of 6:30 p.m. and 10:

(a) Operate a vessel at high speed, or

(b) Have in tow or otherwise assist in the propulsion of a person on water skis, water sled, surfboard or other similar contrivance.

11. On the waters of Lake 28, section 28 and 33, T15N, R7W, Sheridan township, Mecosta county, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow--no wake speed.

LITTLE JOHN BROWN LAKE - R281.754.5 - Slow--no wake speed.

5. On the waters of Little John Brown lake, section 15 and 22, town 15 north, range 8 west, township of Martiny, county of Mecosta, state of Michigan, no operator of any motorboat shall exceed a slow--no wake speed, which means a very slow speed whereby the wake or wash created by the motorboat would be minimal.

MUSKEGON RIVER, WEST BRANCH, DOWNSTREAM ONE-HALF MILE TO DAM - R281.754.3 - Slow--no wake speed.

On the waters of the west branch of the Muskegon river, township of Morton, county of Mecosta, state of Michigan, from Blue lake downstream to the dam located in section 17 of Morton township, a distance of approximately one-half mile, no operator of any motorboat shall exceed a slow--no wake speed.

MUSKEGON RIVER - WC-54-92-001 - Slow--no wake speed.

On the waters of the Muskegon river, sections 20 and 29 of Mecosta township, Mecosta county, between a line created by the north side of the Davis Bridge - 8 Mile road - extending south, downstream, 1750 feet to a line extended across the river, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow--no wake speed.

The boundaries of the area described immediately above shall be marked with signs and with buoys. All buoys must be placed as provided in a permit issued by the Department of Natural Resources and be in conformance with the State Uniform Waterway Marking System.

MUSKEGON RIVER - WC-54-95-001 - Hours for high-speed boating.

On the waters of the Muskegon river, sections 1, 2 and 11, town 14 north, range 10 west, at the township boundary at 12 Mile road extending southerly to 10 Mile road at Rogers dam at a point from the eastern shore line at 180th Avenue, township of Mecosta, Mecosta county, state of Michigan, it is unlawful between the hours of 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. of the following day to:

(a) Operate a vessel at high speed.

(b) Have in tow or shall otherwise assist in the propulsion of a person on water skis, water sled, surfboard or other similar contrivance.

The hours should be 7:30 p.m. to 11:00 a.m. of the following day when Eastern Daylight Savings Time is in effect. High-speed boating is defined by the Marine safety Act to mean a speed at or above which a motorboat reaches a planing condition.

On the waters of the Muskegon River, at a line that intersects the Township boundary at 12 Mile Road extending southerly to 10 Mile Road at Rogers Dam at a point from the eastern shore line at 18th Avenue, sections 1, 2, and 11, town 14 north, range 10 west, township of Mecosta, county of Mecosta, state of Michigan, it is unlawful between the hours of 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. of the following day to:

(a) Operate a vessel at high speed.

(b) Have in tow, or shall otherwise assist in the propulsion of, a person on water skis, water sled, surfboard or other similar contrivance.

The hours should be 7:30 p.m. to 11:00 a.m. of the following day when Eastern Daylight Savings Time is in effect. "High-speed boating" is defined by the Marine Safety Act to mean a speed at or above which a motorboat reaches a planing condition.

On the waters of the Muskegon River, being that portion commencing at a line 125 yards West from the center of the intersection of the Muskegon River as it intersects with Bennett's Creek and extending 125 yards East of the same intersection point. All located within Section 32, town 14 north, range 10 west, township of Mecosta, county of Mecosta, state of Michigan, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow--no wake speed.

The boundaries of the area described immediately above shall be marked with signs and with buoys. All buoys must be placed as provided in a permit issued by the Department of Natural Resources and be in conformance with the State Uniform Waterway Marking System.

On the waters of Pogy Lake, in sections 5, 6, 7 and 8, town 16 north, range 8 west, Chippewa township, Mecosta county, state of Michigan, it is unlawful between the hours of 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. of the following day to:

Operate a vessel at high speed.

Have in tow, or shall otherwise assist in the propulsion of, a person on water skis, water sled, surfboard or other similar contrivance.

The hours should be 7:30 p.m. to 11:00 a.m. of the following day when Eastern Daylight Savings Time is in effect. "High speed boating" is defined to mean a speed at or above which a motorboat reaches a planing condition.

(a) Operate a vessel at high speed, or

(b) Have in tow or otherwise assist in the propulsion of a person on water skis, water sled, surfboard or other similar contrivance.

1. On the waters of Round lake, lake Mecosta, and Blue lake, township of Morton, county of Mecosta, state of Michigan, no operator of any motorboat, during the period from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. of the following day, shall:

(a) Operate such motorboat at high speed, which means a speed at or above which a motorboat reaches a planing condition, or

(b) Have in tow or otherwise assist in the propulsion of a person on water-skis, water sled, surfboard, or other similar contrivance.

7. On the waters of School Section lake, sections 16 and 21, town 14 north, range 8 west, township of Morton, county of Mecosta, an operator of a vessel, during the period from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. of the following day, shall not:

(a) Operate such motorboat at high speed, which means a speed at or above which a motorboat reaches a planing condition, or

(b) Have in tow or otherwise assist in the propulsion of a person on water-skis, water sled, surfboard, or other similar contrivance.

SCHOOL SECTION LAKE CANALS - R281.754.8 - Slow--no wake speed.

8. On the waters of the canals connected to School Section lake, in the southwest ¼ of section 16, town 14 north, range 8 west, township of Morton, county of Mecosta, an operator of a vessel shall not exceed a slow--no wake speed, which means a speed whereby the wake or wash created by the vessel would be minimal.

TOWNLINE LAKE - WC-54-05-002 - Slow--no wake speed.

On the waters of Townline Lake, Section 12, town 16 north, range 8 west, Chippewa Township, Mecosta County, State of Michigan, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow--no wake speed.

TUBBS LAKE (canals) - WC-54-05-001 - Slow--no wake speed.

In the connecting waters in the canal between Tubbs lake south from the Winchester Dam and the eastern portion canals of Tubbs Lake all located within Sections 5 and 8, town 15 north, range 7 west, township of Sheridan, county of Mecosta, state of Michigan, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow--no wake speed.

The boundaries of the area described immediately above shall be marked with signs and with buoys. All buoys must be placed as provided in a permit issued by the Department of Natural Resources and be in conformance with the State Uniform Waterway Marking System.
