    Overview

Land Consolidation: In 2004, the Department established its current land management boundaries and began the review of potentially surplus land outside those boundaries. Surplus land approved for disposal is offered first to governmental units for thirty days and then to qualified conservation entities for thirty days. The land becomes available to the public by exchange, for land within the 2004 DNR Boundaries, for 60 days before being auctioned.

    Sales and Auctions

    • How to Acquire Parcels Lands will first be offered to Governmental Agencies, second to Alternative Conservation Owners, and third to the General Public.
