Week for Early Elementary (WEE Ones)

Join early elementary education specialists from around the state as they show you how to incorporate nature-based best practices into your daily curricula. The hands-on training you'll experience all week will include outdoor explorations, scientific inquiry, art projects, music and movement, reading and math connections. Social, emotional, physical, language and cognitive domains will all be covered to foster learning and developmentally appropriate practice.

Both the Growing Up WILD guide and Project Learning Tree Early Childhood Guides will be highlighted, which are tied to the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Standards and the Head Start Domains. Recommended for Pre K through 3rd Grade Educators.
