Park GPS Coordinates

Hand held GPSThe Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park has compiled a .GPX file which contain location information for key locations within the park, such as cabins, the visitor center, campgrounds, waterfalls, yurts, scenic areas and trailheads. Use of this data will require software that allows you to view and possibly edit the data. Most Global Positioning Service (GPS) units include software (i.e. Garmin MapSource) that has these capabilities.

The file types are .GPX (the GPS file exchange type), this is the most compatible GPS file type and will work with most recreational grade receivers. If you are having difficulties with the data, consult your GPS users manual. This data is provided as a convenience. We do our best to provide accurate data, however, you are responsible for being aware of your surroundings.
