The state coordinators and guest facilitators will prepare participants to deliver professional development training workshops based on the Project WILD or Project Learning Tree Guides. These guides contain award winning curriculum supplements, activities and lessons predominantly focusing on life science, with an integration of ELA, social studies, math, and reading. They contain a high level of STEM activities, that will help educators engage their students in the outdoor world.
Best practices in leading students in hands-on, often outdoor activities and lessons will be modelled and practiced.
