Michigan Wildlife Disease SummariesAnimals found dead, dying or diseased/parasitized are collected by the public, Wildlife Division personnel, and personnel from other state and federal agencies. These are submitted for cause of death determination or parasite identification. Annually summaries are compiled for the diseases and parasites that have been diagnosed and identified.
