Business Licenses

• ORV/ATV License
It is unlawful to operate an ORV without having a valid license permanently attached and visibly displayed on the vehicle.

Permits & Certifications

• Permission to Use State Lands
In an effort to consistently administer and regulate certain activities such as commercial operations and events that may occur on state lands, the DNR has developed a draft procedure for the review of applications for these activities to be conducted on state lands.

• Dispersed Camping Permit
Fill out the Camp Registration Card to obtain your permit.

• Snowmobile Trail Permit
In addition to registration of a snowmobile in Michigan or from another state or province, a person who desires to operate a snowmobile in this state needs to purchase a snowmobile trail permit sticker.
