Join the Archives of Michigan and the Michigan Genealogical Council for two days of exploring resources and best practices for your genealogy research.
The seminar kicks off with a tour of the archives and then continues with a variety of speakers and family history topics. We are pleased to offer two special presentations by noted genealogy lecturer, teacher and writer, Dr. Thomas W. Jones: "The Jones Jinx: Tracing Common Surnames" and "Problem Solving with Probate." The Archives of Michigan is located in the Michigan Library and Historical Center, 702 West Kalamazoo
Street, Lansing. The building and visitor parking are on the north side of Kalamazoo Street, two blocks
